Africa Energy Renaissance Conference (AERC)

Happy to share that our organization participated at the Africa Energy Renaissance Conference (AERC) that took place from 30th August to 1st September .The AERC had members of Africa Civil Society organizations Movement across the continent who came together to redefine Energy systems for the continent.
We learned and unlearned new things from the thematic discussions (energy access, clean cooking, energy transition,strategic minerals, financing the transition, fighting the dangerous distructions.
Indeed it was a time to reflect/ reframe Africa’s Climate, energy and development realities.
The AERC was held few days ahead of the Africa Climate Summit 2023.
